Your mobile is not just a phone -- it's a way to express yourself! On Dada.net, you can meet new friends, discover new and interesting content, and most of all, have fun!
The content area is divided into different sections according to content: Music, Pics, Games, etc. It's up to you how to you'd like to personalize your cell phone to make it unique!
In the "Subscription Info" section, you will find all the details regarding the costs associated with a Dada content subscription.
You can check the status of your subscription, view your downloads and enable other services from the "Your Account" section on the main menu.

How can I subscribe?

You can sign up for Dada.net's content offer via web by filling in the registration form online.
If you come across a ringtone or a wallpaper you want on the Dada.net site, select the content you are interested in and then enter your mobile number and your operator. Once selected, you will receive a PIN via SMS that you must enter on the subscription confirmation page.
If you are visiting Dada for the first time and are unsure about what to select, go to Mobi.dada.net and click the "Sign Up" link located at the top right of the home page. You will then be able to select from the content that interests you the most, and then process your subscription by filling out the registration form. After you've completed the form, you will then receive an SMS on your mobile containing a PIN that will allow you to activate the service and download your selected content. Once your activation request has been confirmed, you will immediately receive the content you selected and you can start downloading content until your credits run out.

How can I download ringtones, images and games?

1) Navigate the Dada.net site and choose the content you want. In case of tones you can listen to the preview before you download by clicking on the button next to the title.

2) If you’re not yet a dada.net member, you will need to complete the registration process before you can receive the content. Click here to find out what’s included in our subscription package.

3) Once you’re signed up and signed in, you will receive the selected content by clicking on a button to download it. Check that you selected the right content.

4) You will receive a confirmation message on your phone. Click on the link indicated, follow the instructions and you're done!

Do the content expire?

No, You can download the content when you want. The 2 tokens allocated to you each week are not transferred from one week to another but are renewed with each weekly subscription payment.

How can I pay? Do I need a credit card?

My mobile number is not Australian. Can I download content?

You can subscribe to the service if u live in a country where Dada.net's mobile offer is active. Check your country in the list of Dada countries. If u don't find it let us know and we will let u know when it will be activated.

Which content can I download on my mobile?

Select your phone model on the website to verify which content are supported. To select your phone model go to: http://au.mobi.dada.net/cell.php.
Once you have selected your model, look at the top right hand corner of the page: you will see the image of your phone and an icon with information. Click there to see the type of content that you can download.

Why haven't I received the content I selected yet?

Ring tones and images require a few minutes (or even a few seconds) before they arrive on your mobile. It could also depend on the traffic of your operator, the coverage in your area, the signal, your internet connection or other factors.
If you requested a ring tone, an image or a game and you still haven't received it after two hours, read the following advice.

1) Is your mobile equipped with text messaging? If you are not sure, contact your operator.

2)Is the internet connection configured correctly on your mobile? For information contact your operator.

3)Does your mobile have net coverage? Check to see if reception is possible.

4)Check if the Wap configuration has been activated. It should be set on "On", "Allow all", "Always" or "Receive all"".

I don't know the model of my mobile. How can I find it?

Go to the page "select phone", check your manual or take out the battery to see the model on the back.

I can't find the message with the link. Where did it go?

Check on your phone in "inbound messages”.
Some operators have more than one option for “inbound messages” and to make things even more complicated some models of phones use different names for “inbound messages”.
So based on your model of phone or your operator, in addition to “messages” you could find “internet messages”, “inbound services”, “funbox”, “messages from the browser” or simply “inbound push”.
For all the necessary instructions you can ask your operator or check the web site.

I received the message with the link. What should I do to download the content?

Click on the link when you receive the message. A window will open and you will see the content you chose. Click on the downloaded content's title.

Why can't I download when I click on the link?

Check with your operator regarding your WAP settings.
Your phone’s WAP connection could not be correctly configured.

I cannot find the content I downloaded.

Did you save the content in your phone? For some models, it is necessary to save the ringtones or the images after downloading them. Check the "media" folders in your phone.

I changed my cell phone number. Is it necessary to transfer all the content I downloaded?



Once downloaded, the content is saved directly on your phone and not on the SIM card. If you change your phone, you will have to download everything again.

My cell phone model is not on the list. What can I do?

You can contact us via the online form.
Tell us the name of your operator and the model of your phone that you didn't find on the list. YOu can write an e-mail by going to the "contact" page and filling in the form.

I forgot my password. What should I do?

Click on the link "I forgot my Password" or "forgotten" and enter your mobile number. We will send you your password again.

I did not receive my PIN code. What should I do?

Wait a few more minutes. If the password doesn’t arrive, write us an e-mail.
We ask that you be patient and wait a few minutes.
The delay could depend on the traffic of your operator, the coverage in your area, the signal, or other factors.
If you don’t receive the message within a few hours, contact us. Remember that in order to receive the password you must have one of the following operators: Virgin, Vodafone, Optus, Telstra or H3G and the configuration for receiving SMS turned on.

There is content on my downloads list that I never received. How did this happen?

Check your phone again. If you requested the content, check you WAP Push Inbox and you will find the link to download it.

There is duplicated content on my list of downloads. How did this happen?

It is possible that you clicked the download button more than once. If you think this is the problem, contact us and we will solve it.

What are tokens for?

The tokens are for downloading content.
For Premium content 2 tokens corresponds to 2 download. There is no limit on the download of non-premium content.

What is Premium content?


Premiums are highlighted on the website and are: Realtones, Java games, Video ring tones, Applications.

Can I listen to ringtones before I download them?

Yes. Go to our catalogue and click on the play button next to the song you want to hear. You can listen to any ringtone before downloading it.

What is the difference between monophonic and polyphonic ringtones?

Monophonic are ring tones reproduced by a single musical tone. Polyphonic are reproduced by more than one tone and they are true melodies.
To download a polyphonic ring tone you need to be connected to WAP.
After having carried out the download request you will receive a message containing the link where you can download the content selected.
The downloaded can be provided for all types of phone model.

My polyphonic ringtone has music but without the singer's voice. Why?

If you want to download music with voice you need to download a Realtone ringtone. Remember to check the settings on your phone.

How do I download my ringtone?

Once the download is complete, you can listen to the ringtone and click on "save." After saving, go to the settings menu, choose "alert sounds/tones" and select "options." This way, you will have the ringtone and you will be able to set it as the default ringtone.

How do I set an image as wallpaper?

Once the download is complete, you can see the image and click on "save." After saving, go to the settings menu and click on "my images" and select "options." This will allow you to set the image as wallpaper on your phone.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can send an SMS with "Stop" or write an e-mail.
